The Keiser University Vietnam (KUV) program mirrors the curriculum at Keiser University in Florida. All completed courses at KUV are recorded on Keiser University’s official transcript system, managed directly from Florida. These credits are recognized for transfer to universities across the U.S., just as if the student had studied at Keiser’s main campus.
Admission Requirements
Students applying to KUV must meet the same admission criteria as those studying at Keiser University in Florida. Admission is not based on Vietnamese university entrance exam scores. Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- High School Graduation: Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- English Proficiency: Applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher (or equivalent TOEFL iBT, Duolingo scores), with the certificate issued within the last two years. They must also meet the international program requirements of Vietnam’s Education Law. (*)
- Standardized Testing: Applicants should provide SAT/ACT scores (meeting specific criteria) or pass the Wonderlic assessment (Florida-based test).
- Alternative Entry: Students without the required certificates may take the Florida entrance exam. If they meet the standards, they can begin their major courses. Otherwise, they may need to enroll in the appropriate EAP level based on their assessment results. (*)
Students without the required certificates can take Florida’s entrance exam. Based on results, students may either enter directly into their major or be placed in the appropriate EAP (English for Academic Purposes) level; (*)

Study Pathways
Students at Keiser University Vietnam (KUV) can choose a flexible study pathway that aligns with their individual plans. The following options are available (blue indicates study in Vietnam, yellow indicates transfer study abroad):
- 4-Year Program in Vietnam:
This is the most cost-effective option and one of the two most popular pathways chosen by KUV students. Students will receive the same diploma and transcript as those studying at the main campus in Florida, but at only 1/8th of the tuition cost. Students may also transfer abroad at any time if desired. - 2+2 Pathway:
The most popular choice among KUV students. After completing the first two years at KUV, students earn an Associate degree from Keiser University and transfer to the Florida campus for the final two years. Students may also transfer to other prestigious universities across the U.S. to complete their bachelor’s degree. In this case, they will receive a bachelor’s degree from the transfer institution. Students are encouraged to use their GPA from the first two years at KUV to apply for scholarships at U.S. partner universities. - 3+1 Pathway:
Ideal for students who wish to study the majority of the program in Vietnam at an affordable tuition rate but spend their final year in the U.S. Students will earn an Associate degree after two years at KUV and continue Year 3 in Vietnam. For Year 4, students will transfer to Keiser University in Florida to complete their bachelor’s degree. Students may also choose to transfer to other U.S. universities. However, note that credit transfers for Year 3 may be less flexible with institutions outside Keiser, as these courses are more specialized. - 1+3 Pathway:
Designed for students pursuing specialized fields not available in Vietnam (e.g., Psychology, Biotechnology, Educational Management, Airport Management). Students complete General Education courses at KUV and transfer to a U.S. university from Year 2. Students will receive transcripts for completed courses from Keiser University. However, they may not receive the same transfer benefits as students in other pathways. - Swiss Transfer Pathway:
Students complete two years at KUV, paying a tuition fee of ~168 million VND/year instead of CHF 40,000-70,000/year. They then study an additional specialized year in Switzerland for ~CHF 30,000 (including tuition, accommodation, insurance). Afterward, students begin a paid internship in the U.S., Europe, or other regions, earning two bachelor’s degrees upon completion. - Canadian Transfer Pathway:
Students complete the first two years at KUV for ~168 million VND/year, then transfer to Canada to complete the remaining two years. They will receive a Canadian bachelor’s degree and benefit from current government policies for international students in Canada. - Master’s Program (Starting in 2025):
From 2025, KUV students can pursue Keiser University’s Master’s program entirely in Vietnam at one-third the cost of studying in Florida. Students who choose to work at KUV after graduation may receive up to a 50% scholarship for the Master’s program.
Study Duration
The actual duration depends on credit accumulation. The average completion time is 1.5 to 2 years for the first two years of general education and 3.5 to 4 years for a full Bachelor’s degree. The total study time may vary based on the number of credits taken per semester. Additional time for English proficiency courses may apply.
The total duration must comply with Keiser University’s, Florida’s, and Vietnam’s Education Law regulations.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the Keiser University program in Vietnam will be officially announced at the beginning of the first semester of each academic year. Fees are listed in Vietnamese Dong and calculated per credit. Typically, tuition fees are fixed throughout the standard duration of the program, with minimal additional charges.
The tuition rates listed below reflect the full amount before applying any scholarships or tuition discounts (if applicable). Students will pay tuition based on the actual number of credits (corresponding to the courses) they register for at the beginning of each semester through the course registration system.
Below is a detailed breakdown of tuition and fees, categorized by program and level:

Tuition fee discounts
If students receive exemptions for certain courses or scholarships, their total tuition will be adjusted accordingly. Below are some common cases:
- Transfer Students from U.S. Colleges/Universities:
Students who have completed courses at the Associate or Bachelor level (from accredited programs) may receive exemptions for equivalent courses that align with Keiser University’s curriculum. - Transfer Students from Colleges/Universities in Other Countries:
Students who have completed courses at the Associate level (from accredited programs) may need to have their transcripts evaluated by an independent agency, Silny, to determine course equivalency with Keiser University’s program.
The transcript evaluation typically costs $450 – $550 per transcript. Students can pay this fee directly to Silny or through KUV’s support
Tuition fees for the Study Abroad Period in the U.S
In fact, in addition to the option for students to complete their entire undergraduate program in Vietnam, they can also transfer to most universities in different states across the U.S., or choose universities in other countries like the UK, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, etc., to continue the remaining part of their undergraduate program. This is similar to a U.S. study abroad student transferring to another U.S. university or to a university in a different country. In this case, students will pay tuition according to the rates published by the university they transfer to in order to complete the remaining part of their undergraduate program.
Tuition fees at universities in the U.S. and other countries vary widely. These variations depend on factors such as the type of institution (public or private), the city or state, the student’s chosen major, or the specific tuition policies for different student groups at each university. Tuition fees can range from $10,000 to $60,000 or $80,000 per year.
Typically, most students who complete the first two years in Vietnam are able to secure scholarships or tuition discounts (for example, some U.S. universities allow students from certain institutes to pay in-state tuition rates or rates for U.S. citizens even if they come from other states). Common tuition discounts typically range from 35% to 50% off the published tuition fees.
