Hướng dẫn xét tuyển

Below is the application process for the programs of Keiser University, USA, offered in Vietnam:

Step 1: Research Program Information & Admission Requirements

Students wishing to enroll in Keiser University programs in Vietnam are encouraged to thoroughly research information about the majors, degree levels, training methods, and other relevant details. Most information can be found on the university’s website, but if you feel the need for a more in-depth understanding or personalized advice (such as how a program fits with the student’s goals, or optimizing study abroad transfer), the university encourages students to schedule a consultation with a career advisor. Students can also contact the university’s advisory team through official communication channels.

Step 2: Prepare Application Documents

After researching the available programs and selecting the appropriate major and degree level, students will prepare their application documents. The required application package includes:

  • A notarized copy of the high school diploma (or equivalent, according to the university’s standards)
  • A notarized copy of the high school transcript (or equivalent, according to the university’s standards)
  • A notarized copy of the national ID or passport
  • A notarized copy of any relevant documents such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, previous college or university diplomas, etc.

Once the complete and valid application is submitted, the student will receive an official invitation letter to finalize the admission process, including instructions for completing the enrollment and paying tuition fees according to the program’s regulations. Typically, the invitation letter will be issued within 4-5 business days after the student has submitted the complete application.

Step 3: Explore Scholarship Opportunities

Students enrolled in Keiser University programs in Vietnam are encouraged to apply for scholarships or financial assistance if they meet the applicable conditions. Scholarships, along with studying in both Vietnam and the U.S. (or other countries), help ease the financial burden and demonstrate the student’s foundational skills or outstanding talent. The university hopes that the annual scholarship fund will serve as a great motivation for all students to continue studying and showcasing their talents.

Step 4: Participate in the Entrance Assessment

Each academic program at Keiser University may have specific entry requirements (as per the main campus in the U.S.). Therefore, students will need to take an entrance assessment. Students may also use certain international certificates (according to the university’s equivalency rules) to be exempt from some of these assessments.

In addition to these entrance assessments, the general policy for Keiser University’s program is that all coursework will be conducted entirely in English. If students do not meet the required English proficiency for their chosen program, they can enroll in the university’s academic English program before starting their specialized courses.

Step 5: Complete Tuition and Fees

After receiving the invitation letter to finalize the admission process, students will need to pay the tuition for the first semester (typically for the first 6 credits) and any related fees (such as application fees, entrance assessment fees, credit transfer fees, student ID activation fees, etc.).

During their studies, students will pay tuition at the beginning of each semester (based on the actual number of credits registered at the start of each term). Tuition fees are typically stable throughout the duration of the student’s studies at the university.

Students can choose from various payment methods, which include:

  • Cash payment: Pay directly at the university’s payment counter and receive a tuition receipt (not recommended).
  • Bank transfer or payment at bank branches: Students must provide a bank transaction receipt to exchange for the official payment slip at the university (students can email the bank transaction receipt or provide the online transaction receipt to the university at fna@kuv.edu.vn).
  • POS machine payment: Students can use an ATM or credit card to pay tuition. However, if paying by credit card, students will also need to cover the POS transaction fee (typically 3.2% of the total tuition). The receipt will be issued at the university’s payment counter.

Step 6: Participate in the Entrance Assessment & Finalize Enrollment

Students will be notified by the Registrar Department about the schedule for the centralized entrance assessment (according to the main campus’s schedule) before officially starting their studies. The entrance assessments are generally not pass/fail, and students will be placed in levels based on their actual abilities at the entry stage.

Before taking the entrance assessments, students will have their student ID activated and issued so they can officially access the university’s academic management system.
