- Eligibility Criteria for the KUV Elite Scholarship:
- The student must have graduated from high school or possess an equivalent diploma.
- The student must have an average score of 9.0 or above for the entire 12th grade year or the first semester of 12th grade, or an equivalent score if graduating from other programs comparable to high school.
- The student must have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.0 or higher (with no skill below 6.0) or another valid English language certificate.
- The student must have participated in individual or group projects that have contributed to the school, community, or society, and be recognized through awards/certificates/recognition. Alternatively, the student should have received awards ranking 3rd place or higher in academic, sports, arts, applied sciences, etc., at the city level or higher.
- Selection Process for the KUV Elite Scholarship:
- Round 1: The candidate submits the KUV Elite Scholarship application along with an essay written in English on a topic provided by the university’s scholarship committee. The application documents include:
- Completed KUV Elite Scholarship Application Form.
- Notarized copy of high school diploma.
- Notarized copy of high school transcript.
- Valid IELTS or equivalent English proficiency certificate.
- Two recent passport-size photos (4×6).
- Notarized copy of ID card or passport (with at least 6 months’ validity for international students).
- Additional supporting documents:
- A recommendation letter from a teacher or an organization the student has been involved with. If the letter is not in English, please attach an English translation.
- Documentation of student activities, awards, or other qualifications.
- The complete application and essay must be submitted in paper format to the Admissions Office, KUV International Training Center in Hanoi.
Note: Essays found to have plagiarism exceeding 3% upon review will result in disqualification for this scholarship.
- Round 2: Candidates will participate in an interview in English with the scholarship committee.
- Round 1: The candidate submits the KUV Elite Scholarship application along with an essay written in English on a topic provided by the university’s scholarship committee. The application documents include:
- Scholarship Value and Validity:
- The scholarship amount is determined based on the results of the two rounds (Document & Essay Review and Interview) with the scholarship committee but will not exceed 80% of the tuition for 39 major-specific credits.
- The KUV Elite Scholarship is applicable to full-time students.
- The KUV Elite Scholarship does not apply to the following cases:
- Retaking courses.
- Taking courses outside the registered major curriculum.
- The scholarship will be reviewed annually based on the renewal conditions outlined as above.
- The scholarship is valid for up to 5 months from the announcement of results. If students do not complete the admission process within this period, the scholarship will be invalidated.
- Number of Scholarships:
- The KUV Elite Scholarship will be awarded to the top 10 students with the best results from the two rounds (Document & Essay Review and Interview) for each new intake.
Note: Students can apply for the KUV Elite, KUV Global, and KUV Leadership scholarships. The scholarship committee will review the applications and award the most appropriate scholarship based on the results of each scholarship selection process.
