KUV Global Scholarship Policy (for New Students)

 

  1. Eligibility Requirements for the KUV Global Scholarship Application:

– Students who have graduated from high school or possess an equivalent diploma.

– Students with an average score of 8.0 or above for their 12th-grade final year, or an average score of 8.0 or above for the first semester of grade 12, or an equivalent score for those graduating from other programs equivalent to high school.

– Students with an English proficiency equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher (with no individual skill score below 6.0) or other equivalent valid English language certificates.

  1. KUV Global Scholarship Selection Process:

Round 1: Students submit the KUV Global Scholarship Application Package along with a self-written essay in English based on a topic provided by the university’s scholarship committee. The application package includes:

  • KUV Global Scholarship Application Form.
  • Notarized copy of high school diploma.
  • Notarized copy of high school transcript.
  • Valid IELTS or other equivalent English language certificates.
  • Two recent passport-size photos (4×6).
  • Notarized copy of national ID, citizenship card, or passport (with at least 6 months’ validity for international students).

Round 2: Candidates participate in an English-language interview with the scholarship committee.

  1. Scholarship Value and Validity Period:

– The scholarship amount is determined based on the results of the two selection rounds: Document Submission & Essay and Interview with the Scholarship Committee. The scholarship is awarded for up to 50% of the tuition fees for the 39 core credits of the chosen major.

– The KUV Global Scholarship applies to full-time study status.

– The KUV Global Scholarship is not applicable for the following cases:

  • Repeating courses.
  • Enrolling in courses outside the registered major at the time of enrollment.

– The scholarship will be reviewed annually according to the conditions outlined as above.

– The complete application package must be submitted in paper form to the Admissions Office at the KUV International Training Center in Hanoi.

Note: Essays found to have plagiarism exceeding 3% upon verification will result in disqualification from the scholarship application.

– The KUV Global Scholarship is valid for a maximum of 5 months from the date the scholarship results are announced. If the student does not complete the admission process within this timeframe, the awarded scholarship will become void.

  1. Number of Scholarships:

The KUV Global Scholarship is awarded to the top 20 students based on the results of the two selection rounds: Document Submission & Essay and Interview with the Scholarship Committee for each scholarship cycle.

Note: Students may apply for the KUV Elite, KUV Global, and KUV Leadership scholarships. The scholarship committee will consider the student’s application and award the most suitable scholarship based on the results of each scholarship selection process.
