1. Eligibility Criteria for the KUV Leadership Scholarship:
– Applicants must have graduated from high school or hold an equivalent diploma.
– Applicants must have a minimum average grade of 7.0 for the entire 12th grade year or the first semester of 12th grade, or an equivalent score if graduating from comparable high school programs.
– Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or higher or possess other valid English language certificates.
2. Application Process for the KUV Leadership Scholarship:
Applicants must submit a complete KUV Leadership Scholarship application package and a self-written essay in English on a topic provided by the scholarship committee. The required documents include:
- Completed KUV Leadership Scholarship Application Form.
- Notarized copy of the high school diploma.
- Notarized copy of the high school transcript.
- Valid IELTS certificate or equivalent English language certification.
- Two recent (4×6) passport-size photos taken within the last six months.
- Notarized copy of a national ID card or passport (with a minimum of six months’ validity for international students).
- The complete application and essay must be submitted in paper form to the Admissions Office at KUV International Training Center in Hanoi.
Note: Essays found to contain plagiarism exceeding 3% will result in disqualification.
3. Scholarship Value and Validity:
– The scholarship amount is determined based on the application and essay evaluation but will not exceed 30% of the tuition for 39 major-specific credits.
– The KUV Leadership Scholarship applies to full-time students only.
– The scholarship is valid for up to five months from the announcement of the results. If students fail to complete the admission process and enroll within this timeframe, the awarded scholarship will be forfeited.
The scholarship does not cover:
- Retaking courses.
- Taking additional courses outside the registered curriculum.
- The scholarship will be re-evaluated annually based on the renewal conditions outlined above.
4. Number of Scholarships:
The KUV Leadership Scholarship will be awarded to 300 students with the best application results for each new intake.
Annual Scholarship Renewal Policy:
Scholarships and financial aid requiring annual renewal will only be considered if students submit a re-evaluation application. To maintain a scholarship awarded by the KUV International Training Center in Hanoi, students must meet the minimum conditions outlined below.
If students fail to meet any of the conditions, their scholarship level may be downgraded to a lower tier, or renewal may be denied in cases of poor academic performance or inappropriate conduct. Final results of the re-evaluation will be communicated via student email.
